Project: Mother & Child Health Care Center
Organization: Khairpur Rural Development Organization
Project Team: Jehanara Zafar (team lead), Wasif Mullick, Rahbel Rahman
EC: Omar Biabani, Rabia Chaudry, Saad Hasan

Please download the relevant documents attached below.

Initial feedback from the team:

"Does the ADP have any information about the background of KRDO (capacity of people running the organization, progress/results of their other projects?)
What is WHV, is that Women Health Worker. The proposal says that they are going to hire either a lady doctor or a WHV. What will be the qualification for WHV and Lady Attendant.
Will a total of 2 member staff (female) be sufficient to run a MCH center..
There is no provision of basic medicines in the budget..
Is there any secondary financer of the project? Who will take care of utilities bills..
Who is going to fund the center after one year (is there any supplementary source)
There is also no mention of rent in the budget. (who is going to pay that or KRDO owns the land) also whats going to be the size of the center..
What if there is any equipment breakdown (is there any backup-plan and who will bear the cost)
Is the center going to charge any fee for any of its services..
I think the center must expand on the family planning component (currently planned to service only 1000 clients).
Is there any KRDO member living in Bozdar Wada area to keep a tight check on the facility.. " Wasif

"I went through the proposal and it seems like this is a great small scale project to provide maternal health care in a rural town. However I noticed that there was no mention of ultra sound machines without which no care can be provided to pregnant women." Jehanara
